Introduction

The Bowen Library presents the Middle East fiction adult book club.The target audience are adults from Bowen Library members interested in Middle Eastern countries. All novels are set in the Middle East and have Middle Eastern historical perspectives. The aim is to encourage readers of Middle Eastern fiction books, with Middle East historical perspectives, and introduce adults to a variety of
Middle Eastern novels.

 The sources I used are from, Bowen Library web catalogue, Amazon, website: Google and YouTube, Augus&Robertson, University of Sydney Library catalogue.

 Search Strategy

 Bowen Library Catalogue

 Most of the Middle East items provided are from Bowen Library web catalogue collection. However the library doesn’t provide reviews of the books, so in those cases I decide use other sources to complete the bibliography.

I searched the catalogue using a general keyword as Middle East, Iran, Israel etc

 The State Library of New South Wales have an extensive collection of monograph the  situation of the women under the Taliban rules and I find the monograph I chose that provide substantial and details information.

        I searched the catalogue using a general keyword as Women Taliban and I locate 15 items and I found several items relevant I chose the second item The women of Afghanistan under the Taliban.
